Les Coteaux du Quercy

Between white stones and orchards

Les coteaux du Quercy… the seduction of a terroir

Les coteaux du Quercy are the land of wines and orchards. The Tarn-et-Garonne, area of fruit production is known as orchard of the South-West. With many colours during spring and autumn, les coteaux du Quercy between Lauzerte and Montpezat-de-Quercy, alternate between hedgerows, plains , green hills. This diversity shaped the architecture et the large knowledge of this region.

Medieval fortified villages, “sauvetés”, “bastides” or the remains of castles constitute the memory of human development, as do the countless elements of rural heritage: bordes, pigeon lofts, wells, wash-houses…

During their Tour in France, Elisa and Max, the famous “Bestjobers” have discovered the wild nature of Tarn-et-Garonne ! From the breathtaking gorges of the Aveyron to the Coteaux du Quercy and the hills of Lomagne. They had a great time ! They fell in love with the organic lavender fields that can be seen in the Quercy, the petrifying waterfall of Caylus, the ornithological reserve of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave and the green lake of Montpezat-de-Quercy.

From stars to planets, we learn so much about the sky with Jean-Baptiste. It’s quite amazing how much he knows about it!
