In Tarn-et-Garonne, two cities can bennefit the label Ville d’Art et d’Histoire : Montauban la ville rose et Moissac le joyau roman.

Montauban and Moissac thanks to their rich heritage, were awarded the Ville d’Art et d’Histoire label in 2009 and 2012.

Through their heritage departments, the towns of Moissac and Montauban offer, throughout the year, moments of exchange, encounters and discoveries to promote their architectural, archaeological, but also environmental and intangible heritage.

In addition to the different guided tours of the two cities, the Heritage departments organize the Rendez-vous du samedi (for Moissac), but also conferences and expositions. They also take parts to the National meetings like la Nuit des Musées, les Rendez-vous au jardin, les Journées du Patrimoine…
