Lovers of “specimen” the lake of Beaumont awaits you to catch the famous mirror carp. Covered with large, shiny, irregularly arranged scales of different sizes, the mirror carp can reach 110cm and weigh 45kg (among the biggest carps in the world).
The mirror carp is appreciated for its combativeness and its power which comes from its large and muscular tail.
Night fishing for carp is generally open from 1 March to 31 December (see current decree). Daytime fishing is allowed all year round.
