A visual and sound exploration is the program offered by this BD-CONCERT throughout the journey through the huts of Jirô Taniguchi’s The Thousand-Year-Old Forest. Close to the impressionistic textures that emerge from the expressive drawings and fine watercolor work developed by the author, the WAÏ WAÏ trio composes with the same sensitivity the dream soundtrack to accompany Wataru, a young city hero upset by a forced exile to the Japanese countryside.
