Danger Zoo is a rock quartet, born in Toulouse in 2023. It is the project of Zoé Beaudouin, musician and painter, immersed in the fauna and flora of surrealism. Like Zappa, Zoé has always had the desire to break down musical barriers. His songs in French surf in
western landscapes where the riffs and gimmicks of the mustangs remind us of the 60s.
Hands on the wheel of a flying Cadillac, it’s his deep, roaring voice that makes the dust fly in echo. Through a spell of yodeling and lyrical flights, Zoé's voice recalls the yéyé singers who hung out a little too much in bistros where punks read Boris Vian. The heady “nursery-rhyme-pop” refrains contrast with
the progressive parts where the overdrives and drum breaks make us twist.
The performance of these four on stage becomes a decompression zone for disillusioned adults. Danger Zoo is a cathartic bubble where the bad and the unsightly have the right to be beautiful.
