What if there was a medium to send several messages per day? A media combining image and text, which we would choose carefully or which we would send lightly. A medium to transmit vacation memories, organize a daily activity or even give a sign of life during the First World War.

What if there was a medium to send several messages per day? A media combining image and text, which we would choose carefully or which we would send lightly. A medium to transmit vacation memories, organize a daily activity or even give a sign of life during the First World War.
Come and discover these postcards, the equivalent of our current messages, which invaded mailboxes at the turn of the last century; testifying today to an era and the image of our cities of the time.

by the Museum of the Resistance and the Combatant
Meet at Espace Perbosc, 2 bd E. Herriot
June 1944, France is on the path to Liberation. Popular jubilation, justified after four years of occupation, gave way to popular vindictiveness against the collaborators. To prevent too many clandestine settling of scores and to provide a
legal framework for the Purge, the provisional government created the courts of justice by the order of August 26, 1944. They will be responsible for studying the files of all people who have committed acts of collaboration with the enemy.
Come discover a part of our history that is often overlooked or deliberately forgotten.
June 6 at 6 p.m. - 1914/1945 WOMEN WAR REPORTERS, ANOTHER HISTORY
by the Museum of the Resistance and the Combatant
Meet at Espace Perbosc, 2 bd E. Herriot
Since the 1850s, war reporters have taken their photographic equipment into the heart of the fighting, places that everyone seeks to flee. They track war, seek to give voice to those who do not have it. They bring their harvest of images back to their sponsors.
If big names like Albert Londres or Robert Capa are familiar to you, what about the names of Nellie Bly, Andrée Viollis, Alice Schalek, Gerda Taro or Lee Miller? Come and discover these women engaged in the heart of conflicts to testify, at the risk of their lives.
