New: “The birds of Tarn-et-Garonne” at the Victor Brun Natural History Museum.
-
The Victor Brun Natural History Museum invites you to discover a brand new temporary showcase around the birds of Tarn-et-Garonne. Through this window, you will observe the emblematic birds of different iconic environments in our department such as the Agre-Montech forest, the Saint Nicolas de la Grave lake or the Montauban Plant Garden. You will also discover what threatens birds and how to do, at your level, to encourage their presence.
Don’t also miss Sano Kali, the red panda!

Since February 2024, the Museum has had a new resident, and not the least since it is one of the mammals most appreciated by the public: the red panda!
During his life, Sano Kali stayed at the Calviac Zoological Reserve, located in the Dordogne, 1h30 from Montauban. This reserve honors animals particularly threatened with extinction, and participates in several conservation programs, including one dedicated to our very dear red panda.
