  • What was buried has resurfaced: my village, the postman’s 4L, Formica…
The images in this exhibition evoke what I thought I had forgotten.
To photograph is to put the head, the eye and the heart on the same line of sight.

    About Philippe Colin:
Originally from the Fumel area, Philippe Colin is a self-taught photographer. He experiences,
both film and digital, all types of subjects and techniques.
Under the title “Double je”, in 2016 he exhibited a series of portraits that he considers to be
so many pieces of an imaginary puzzle of his own reflection.
In 2019, he exhibited a series of ground details under the name “Watch Where You Walk”
Like an invitation to be attentive to the path, neither in front nor behind, just the ground of
    the present moment.
Today, his photographic work takes multiple directions, but
always seeks to share the invisible, the fleeting, the secret.
