Exhibition - The Paradise Garden

  • In many traditions, the garden is considered a reflection of paradise because of its peaceful and harmonious appearance.

  • A symbol of beauty, perfection and balance, the garden invites people to take care of nature and cultivate a deep relationship with it. After painting for several years in black and white, Odile Cariteau reintroduced color upon returning from her travels to Japan.
    She then develops the theme of the garden as a reflection of paradise, under two aspects of a daytime vision and a nocturnal vision.
