The Victor-Brun Museum of Natural History is hosting "Species of Birds of Prey", an exhibition that is both educational and impressive. From 5 April to 16 November, the exhibition presents birds of prey in their entirety: from their biology to their diet, including their reproduction, their classification in the animal kingdom, their protection and their link with humans. In short, so many peculiarities of fascinating species!

This is an opportunity to discover the museum's rich collections in a new light, including the largest bird of prey in the world, the Andean condor, behind the wandering albatross, the largest bird in the world, which is also present in the collection. These two birds of prey rub shoulders with the largest owl in the world, newly acquired by the establishment: the public will be able to come and discover it! Not far from there will be erected the owl of a famous wizard, in collection since... 1854 !

In addition to explanatory educational panels, vision glasses will be installed for children who will be able to see... like birds of prey!

On Sunday 6 April, from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm, the museum will be free: the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment of Montauban will present its living mascot Malizia (photo below), a bald eagle offered by the godmother of the 17th RGP, Princess Caroline of Monaco.

Thus, this exhibition will highlight the link between birds of prey and humans. More broadly, works from the Ingres Bourdelle Museum will also be presented.
