A Quartuor Ébène concert is and remains an event
musical and sensory. -
During the last two
decades, the quartet has set new milestones in
devoting itself to works in the repertoire beyond the
perfection and seeking exchange with the public.
In addition to the traditional repertoire, the quartet immerses itself
in other styles. The New York Times mentions “a
string quartet that can easily transform
in jazz band. Drawing on this experience, Raphaël Merlin
dedicates to him a composition whose title is borrowed from
Charles Mingus.

strings of Beethoven, favorite composer
des Ébène and concludes with the third quartet
by Tchaikovsky whose Andante moves you to tears.

venues around the world including the Radio Auditorium
France, the Wigmore hall of London, the Konzerthaus of
Vienna, the Lee Shau Kee Lecture Center in Hong Kong, the
Muziekgebouw of Armsterdam, the auditorium of Valladolid.
