Angélique was a princess of the kingdom of Cathay, in India. She was later brought by Roland to France, so that she fell in love with him. However, not in love at all, she fled and was captured by pirates who abandoned her on an island to offer her as food to the Orca Marine. It is then that Roger intervenes to save her, mounted on the Hippogriff.

100Taur has chosen not to represent Angelique nude chained to the Rock. It is neither serpentine, nor decked out with a goiter. Nor is it used as food for the Orc - which he imagines here more as a sea dragon. On the contrary, in his vision of this mythical scene, he imagines Angelique omniscient.
In order to restore her omnipotence and her rank as heroine, 100Taur wanted to symbolize her with a blue eye, immense, very beautiful, an embodiment of the femininity that dominates the fight. Omniscient, she is visible in all her interstices as well, with those little eyes which flutter around the other protagonists, which envelop them.
