The French Farmhouse in Quercy

It was lovingly renovated in 2016 to provide en-suite rooms and restore some of the original features of the house, which have regained their former glory. The dining room and the well-equipped kitchen are approximately 40 m² with access to the first floor balcony which offers a view of the fields to the east, a beautiful place to watch the dawn. From the kitchen you can access the living room, a cozy room with sofas, TV, DVD, a library of books and board games. There are two bedrooms with bathrooms accessible from the landing. On the ground floor there is another bedroom and an adjoining bathroom with bath and door to the east lawn. The media room with projector, DVD, karaoke and playstation offers entertainment for the whole family. The south garden has a salt heated swimming pool, 11 x 5 meters. The adjacent pool house features BBQ facilities, a refrigerator and a dining table. You will also find a wet room with shower and toilet. French Farmhouse is a quality holiday home that we hope will provide everything you need for a perfect stay in this special part of southwestern France. We bought The French Farmhouse in 2014 and started renovations. We have always planned that this is a holiday home, so it has developed and developed as such. We have a separate house on the site where we live. We appreciate welcoming guests to the French Farm and providing the facilities and information that will allow them to have a truly wonderful holiday. The Ferme Française is located in a peaceful countryside setting, just a five-minute drive from the town of Montaigu de Quercy with its supermarkets, bakery, butcher, restaurant garage (gas station) and doctors. It is the deepest France where history, culture and gastronomy mix to make a perfect holiday. The local bastides with their narrow streets, attractive architecture and fresh markets are great places to stroll.Visit local wineries and taste the wines and look for local producers of gourmet products. We have a list of fantastic restaurants to recommend if you prefer to dine for lunch or dinner ... or both! There is music all around, look for places to meet a local band and see the jazz nights announced in the tourist offices. If you feel energetic, take the quiet lanes or explore the bike path along the Lot River. There are bicycles for rent and canoes for rent. The tennis court in the local town is available and we have tennis rackets for you to borrow. Starting from the house for a walk, we have maps of local itineraries that will show you the countryside with the possibility of seeing deer and many species of birds. The "beach" in Montaigu is a lake with a beach. It's a good place for picnics or there is a coffee shop. There are pedal boats for rent and a sandy beach, fun for the family.
