Besides the jubilant psychiatric analysis of avarice
through the character of Harpagon and the formidable
exhibition of the conflict of generations, the great genius of
Molière is, above all, about making the audience laugh
with an obnoxious, tyrannical, selfish main character
    and morbidly… miserly.
Returning to the sources of Molière's burlesque farce,
with the gluttony and simplicity that characterizes him,
    Jean-Philippe Daguerre puts on a theater-style Avar
of trestles without embellishment, going to the essential. He signs
a rhythmic, funny and lively show which appeals to young and
big. A tasty and sweet treat with flavors
of yesteryear to share with family.
