Un petit orgue du 11ème siècle

Un petit orgue bien caché

Historic site and monument, Religious heritage, Church in Moissac
  • The Abbey of Moissac is internationally recognised for the richness of its cloister, its Abbey church and its majestic tympanum. When you climb from the cloister to the upper room, there is a unique instrument: an 18th century organ (the copy of an 11th century organ), the sound of which resonates during the improvisation days offered by the Ensemble Organum. When the stones heat up the sound of this organ takes on its fullness. An unforgettable moment of musical communion.
