To visit this valley is also the opportunity to discover a magnificent waterfall: the Petrifying waterfall. This is fed by a large amount of water for a long time of the year. The water flows at high speed and deposits on the rock calcite. It is during the summer that this piece of calcified rock is unveiled, like a beige coat. With the runoff of water, beautiful gours were created at the foot of the waterfall. This Valley is a place of preservation of Fauna and Flora. So do not go too fast you may have the opportunity to the detour of your walk to see, a deer, a gray heron, a squirrel, a crested, a pipistrelle or many other animals that amaze the little ones and the big ones. The D97 route of the Bonnet Valley is used by many hikers, but also by motor vehicles. This road is not recommended for bulky vehicles.
