The landscapes you see from Le Causé today are the result of a long geological process: several million years of ocean action and thrusts of the Pyrenees massif.

From the vantage point of Causé, you can imagine what is known as the ‘Gascon fan’, hills and valleys crossed by rivers such as the Gimone, Arrats and Gers, laid out like a fan, and glimpse towns and villages, Lomagnoles houses and bòrdas farms nestling on the hillsides.
